I am a sculptor and performer. I studied welding technology at Polytechnic college (2007-2012) and contemporary art for artists at Free Workshops of Moscow Museum of Modern Art (2017-2018).
The main media I work with are metal, welding techniques, and fireproof tarpaulin; thus, I create my artist mythology through metal sculptures, royal costumes, performances, and public art.
Since 2015, I have realized more than 40 sculptural projects and curated 3 art residencies.
In 2023, I got an OB-1 talent visa as an artist, I am travelling a lot around the world for art and business projects, art interventions, and for participating in the art fairs.
ARTIST STATEMENT
In my art, living the life of a “queen of welding,” or Weld Queen, that I invented, featuring sculptural characters made of metal, royal performative accessories, and even my own royal retinue, I create the rules of the game and pass consciously through all the passions and desires inherent in egoism. My mission is to convey to people through sculpture the power to free themselves from the shackles of the material world and develop constructively.
